In this subject, I explore the innovative use of plants, soils, and animals in construction and ecology. I learned about ecosystems, focusing on how living materials shape spaces while enhancing aesthetics and ecological function. The course emphasises the necessary technical knowledge for designing resilient urban habitats for people and wildlife. With lectures and tutorials, I delve into ecological design principles. My final project involves creating a sustainable environmental habitat for the Galada Reserve, allowing me to apply my knowledge to regenerate and conserve functional living systems.
